With force-of-nature vocalists and a vintage R&B rhythm section, this family of Texas-based powerhouses have wowed at South by Southwest, Lincoln Center, and beyond with spirit-lifting, hip-shaking “high-energy performances [that] are the living embodiment of the indelible connection between the black church and its rock and soul offspring” (Austin Chronicle).
