To protect all students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors, UC San Diego has developed enhanced safety requirements for individuals arriving, working and living on all UC San Diego campuses, properties and locations. Policies focused on mandatory face coverings/masks, social distancing and visitor symptom screening have been implemented and will be continuously reevaluated.

As we continue to monitor the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19 ) in our area, the safety and health of the UC San Diego and ArtPower community is our top priority. No members of the UC San Diego community have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

UC San Diego is strongly encouraging the cancellation of large-scale university gatherings of 100 people or more, effective immediately through May 10. As a result, ArtPower will cancel our events through May 10.

As cancellations of performances and gatherings become more widespread in the wake of COVID-19, the financial impact on artists and presenters around the world is becoming a harsh reality. If you are a current ticket holder for a cancelled performance and would like to support our mission during this difficult time, please consider donating your ticket(s) as a tax-deductible gift to ArtPower.

Existing ticket holders will receive an email communication regarding performance cancellations and a phone call for ticket refunds. For more information, please contact the Box Office at 858.534.TIXS or by email at Our box office hours are Mon–Fri, 10 am to 4 pm.

What are ArtPower’s plans for the fall?

ArtPower will be completely virtual from October–December 2020. 

What are your plans for live performances?

We will follow the latest guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our audience and employees. 

What do I do if I cannot attend the performance?

We are committed to the health and safety of our artists, students, patrons, and staff and will accommodate ticket exchanges and refunds, should you be unable to safely attend an event. If an event needs to be rescheduled or canceled, we will inform you as soon as possible, providing you with the option of a ticket exchange, donation, or refund. Refunds will be available less applicable fees.

We request at least 24 hours notice to the date and time on the ticket.

Do I need to wear a mask?

When the building opens for the public, a mask, face shield, or cloth face covering may be required for entrance into the building. If for any reason you have a concern, please email to discuss the concerns. 

ArtPower will follow current health and safety guidelines as required by the university, local, state, and federal authorities.

What happened to my series subscription seats?

This season we will only have Choose Your Own subscriptions available. This will allow you to build your own subscription across series. We anticipate resuming normal series next season. 

If you are a past subscriber, your past year’s seats will be made available as soon as we can resume normal seating.
