Winner of the 2008 Osaka International Chamber Music Competition in Japan, the Quartet performs regularly in leading concert halls throughout Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, the UK, and the USA. Recording exclusively for Chandos Records since 2010, the Doric String Quartet has released widely praised CDs of works by Haydn, Schubert, Schumann, Chausson, Korngold, Janáček, Martinů, and Walton, earning two Gramophone Award nominations.
