About

An Evening Conversation with Ina Garten

An evening onstage with Ina Garten—the beloved cookbook author and television host known to millions as the Barefoot Contessa—offers audiences the chance to hear from one of America’s most trusted voices in home cooking and hospitality.

The evening will spotlight her new cookbook, Simply Ina (Clarkson Potter, October 2026), a vibrant collection of recipes that prove the most delicious cooking is often the simplest.

For more than two decades, Garten has inspired home cooks with her signature blend of warmth, elegance, and practicality. A #1 New York Times bestselling author and longtime star of Food Network, she is the creator of more than a dozen bestselling cookbooks and the host of Be My Guest with Ina Garten. Her work has earned five Emmy Awards and two James Beard Awards, and her recipes have become staples in kitchens across the country.

In conversation onstage, Garten will reflect on the remarkable path that brought her from running a small specialty food shop in the Hamptons to becoming one of the most recognizable culinary personalities in the world. With humor and candor, she’ll share stories from behind the scenes of her cookbooks and television shows, and discuss how her philosophy of approachable elegance—beautiful food made with confidence and ease—has shaped her career and her connection with generations of home cooks.

Garten’s newest cookbook, Simply Ina, is a vibrant collection of 85 recipes designed to deliver maximum flavor with minimal effort. From make-ahead lunches and effortless appetizers to satisfying dinners and irresistible desserts, the book celebrates a guiding idea that has long defined Garten’s cooking: the best meals are often the simplest.

Audiences will also hear about the practical wisdom and joyful spirit that define her work—her favorite time-saving strategies, her famously pragmatic “store-bought is fine” philosophy, and the creative thinking behind dishes like Mashed Potato & Leek Soup, make-ahead Provençal Chicken with Olives & Capers, and Cherry Berry Crumble.

Ultimately, the evening celebrates the core message at the center of Garten’s cooking: that time in the kitchen should bring people together. With warmth, humor, and hard-won culinary insight, Ina Garten will remind us that simple food, made with care, can make life—and time around the table with the people you love—even more delicious.
